Hello Family and Friends, thank you for visiting this page!
I started playing floorball (aka "the best sport ever invented") with Utah Floorball just a few years ago, and it quickly became a passion for me. I set a dream goal to someday play on the U.S. National Under 19 Floorball Team. I am super excited to have my dream come true and have the opportunity to represent my country in the World Floorball Championships in Halifax, Canada, May 6 - 12. I will get to compete with 19 fellow American teammates selected from around the world against the national teams of New Zealand (friendly match) and Russia (yes, we may need a "Miracle Off Ice"), Poland and Japan in opening pool play.
Competing in the World Championships is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me that requires travel, room and board, team fees, and other expenses that add up quickly. Our coaches and staff all volunteer their time and pay their own way as well. My team and I are raising money so that we can do our best to represent the U.S.A. in Halifax.
Any amount is appreciated! Thank you for your consideration and support.
USA! USA! USA!

We are Team USA!
We are the young men of the USA Floorball Men's Under-19 team, and we need your help! We have qualified as one of sixteen teams to play for the World Floorball Championships in Halifax, Nova Scotia, this May. There are a LOT of expenses that go with taking a team to represent the United States! We would very much appreciate your help.
We come from all over the world - American kids who live both in the States and abroad, and we all share a common love of floorball! We represent Michigan, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, Florida, Wyoming, Utah, and ex-pats from around the world.
What is floorball? Floorball is a mix of hockey and soccer and played on an indoor rink with low boards. It's fast, inexpensive, easy to learn, challenging to master, and it's gaining popularity all over the country. Essentially, players use hockey-like sticks to hit a plastic ball into a net guarded by a goalie who kneels on the floor and plays without a stick. It's 5-on-5, non-stop action, and exciting!
What are we fundraising for? Every two years, the International Floorball Federation (IFF) holds the World Floorball Championships to determine the best team in the world in each division. This year's competition is for the Under-19 Men - the future of floorball! Team USA has qualified to play as one of 16 teams for the World Championship and is heading to the host city of Halifax in Canada. There are a lot of expenses such as entry fees, accommodations, and travel. Every little bit that we raise takes some of the burdens off of the boys and their families and is really appreciated.
Tell me more about the event! The tournament dates this year are May 8-12. Games are broadcast live on IFF's YouTube channel and are easily found. The official event website is http://floorball2019.com. We play one game each day and our Group C draw includes Poland, Russia, and Japan.
What can I do to help? Spread the word! Floorball is an international event and the popularity is growing. We want to show well for our country and inspire the next set of boys to pick up a floorball stick and learn the game. Please consider donating to either the team in general or towards a specific player to help that player.
Thanks for your consideration and your donation!
